The event-day gap

You work hard to get the right brands and visitors in the room. What happens next is hard to measure.

Watch Guide sits alongside your website and ticketing. Visitors scan a QR code and use it straight away, with no app-store download, and afterwards you can see what happened.

What changes on the day for each group, without and with Watch Guide
Who On the day, today With Watch Guide
Visitors A static exhibitor list or printed table plan which has been printed a week before the show. By the time the doors open, the lineup has changed and every visitor is holding an outdated and incorrect guide. A mobile guide that stays current, even when the lineup changes the day before. Visitors discover brands, find stands, save favourites, keep notes and complete challenges.
Exhibitors Good conversations, but no way to tell who showed genuine interest once the day is over. QR stand check-ins, saves and shortlists, plus consent-based follow-up opt-ins for each brand.
Sponsors Visibility means a logo on a page. Featured placement, challenge inclusion and QR check-in reporting they can point to.
Giveaways Prize draws mean collecting entries, picking winners and getting the results to each brand by hand. Click one button and the prizes are allocated. Winners see their prize when they log in, then collect it directly from the brand.
Organisers The most important part of the event is the least measurable. A privacy-safe report on adoption, engagement, exhibitor coverage and sponsor value, for renewals and next year.

Built from real event experience

Built by a watch event organiser, for watch event organisers.

Watch Guide was created by Joshua Clare-Flagg, organiser of WatchIt! Watch Fair and founder of 12&60, one of the UK’s leading independent watch review platforms.

After years of reviewing watches, working with brands and organising a major independent watch fair, Josh built Watch Guide to solve a problem he lived through first-hand: once the doors open, it is hard to see how visitors are engaging with exhibitors, sponsors and the event itself.

The result is a practical event-day companion that helps visitors get more from the show, and gives organisers and exhibitors better insight into what actually happened on the day.

Built and tested at a real watch event, around the needs of visitors, exhibitors, sponsors and organisers

“I built Watch Guide because I wanted WatchIt! to be more than a room full of tables. I wanted visitors to discover more brands, exhibitors to get more value, and organisers to have useful insight after the doors closed.”

Questions organisers ask

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind? Send us a message and we will answer it directly.

Is Watch Guide a replacement for our event website?

No. Watch Guide is not an event website or ticketing platform. It is an event-day experience app that sits alongside your existing website, ticketing setup and marketing activity.

Do visitors need to download an app?

No. Visitors scan a QR code and use Watch Guide instantly in their mobile browser. There is no app store download required.

Can it use our event branding?

Yes. Watch Guide can be branded around your event, including colours, logo, imagery, exhibitors and sponsor placements. It can also be deployed on your own domain or a subdomain, so it feels like a seamless part of your event experience.

How much setup work is needed from us?

The process is designed to be simple. You provide the key event information — exhibitors, table plan, sponsor details, timings and giveaway details — and we set up the branded event experience.

Can exhibitors receive visitor follow-up details?

Yes, where visitors have clearly opted in to hear from specific brands. Watch Guide is designed around consent-based follow-up interest, not hidden data collection.

Can sponsors be featured?

Yes. Sponsors can receive featured placement, challenge inclusion, enhanced visibility and post-event engagement insight.

What data do organisers and exhibitors receive after the event?

There are two reports. Organisers receive a privacy-safe event report covering app adoption, attendee engagement, exhibitor coverage, QR check-ins, saved brands, challenge participation, sponsor engagement and follow-up interest. Each exhibitor is also emailed their own brand report, with a direct link to all of their own data.

Is this only for large events?

No. Watch Guide is designed for watch fairs, collector shows and enthusiast-led events of different sizes. It is especially useful where exhibitors want more value and visitors need a better way to discover brands.

Can it be used outside the UK?

Yes. Watch Guide is being developed for watch events internationally, although initial founding event pilots are focused on UK watch events.

How much does it cost?

Founding event pilots are available from £1,000. Standard packages will start from £1,500+ depending on event size, setup needs and sponsor features.
